When I received the invitation to go to Folie Douce with two friends, I said: YES! Of course, who would say no to that? The work involved a collaboration between the Hotel Barrière Le Majestic and the party Folie Douce! As soon as we checked in, we went on a boat trip and headed straight to La Guerite Restaurant (Jay-Z and Beyoncé favourite). Everything was absolutely amazing and the place is paradise!
After lunch, we went on a Catamaran trip to an area near Cannes where the sea was crystal clear! There we stayed the whole afternoon, enjoying the landscape, having a sunbath and also listening to some music to cheer us up for the main Folie Douce event later on.
Once we were all ready, we went to Pier where Folie Douce takes place for some apéro and diner. The atmosphere was very entertaining, there were performances during dinner and even a guy who participated on French The Voice, sang a few songs to the public! And the party went on until 2am…
Sadly the time to head back to London has come but we still had a bit of time left. We stayed on the beach near the Hotel Majestic and also, had a walk in the city centre before going to the airport x
