There are days when I am searching for inspiration… With the fashion weeks coming up, I normally allow myself to take in some art to reinvigorate my mind and I consequently become more creative in planning my outfits.
Last week I had one of those days and so, I decided to visit The Wallace Collection at Hertford House. The different rooms make up a series of treasure troves and are just breathtaking, full of art from the 18th century and some Old Master paintings! For the occasion, I wore this gorgeous romantic dress I got from a local shop in Greece and a beautiful pale blue leather bag by Ennigaldi.
Ennigaldi is a new luxury accessories label based in London. Named after a Babylonian princess, who founded the world’s first museum. Princess Ennigaldi dedicated her life to the preservation of art and antiquities. In a similar fashion, the brand seeks to celebrate the art of past eras through its collections and each bag, meticulously crafted in Italy, is regarded as a portable work of art in itself, with which its wearer can curate their look and their surroundings.
Ennigaldi’s debut collection for AW16 is inspired by the art and architecture of Mesopotamia and merges art and fashion in a beautiful harmonious way. You can take a look at the full collection here.
