São Miguel do Gostoso

NYE in São Miguel do Gostoso is without any doubt one of the most vibrants in whole Brazil. The place was completely fulfilled with people from all the parts of the country and tourists from outside too. Good thing is that everything worked just fine in there. Restaurants, bars and hotels were full but everything was running just fine.
São Miguel do Gostoso is a quite small paradisiac village, located about 108km from the city of Natal. Local people are absolutely amazing! Everyone is just so smiley, happy and positive. We were welcomed with a huge smile from A to Z by them.
Also, the place is considered to be one of the best ones in the world for the practice of Kite-surf and wind surf!
Apart of all these amazing things, there were 5 great parties we went to:
27/12 – CORONA SUNSETS
28/12 – JUNGLE PARTY
29/12 – BAILE DO ZEH PRETIM
30/12 – MANGATA
31/12 – REVEILLON DO GOSTOSO
All the parties in the package were open bar. They all had an unique atmosphere that only who’s been to São Miguel do Gostoso know!
Restaurants – We went to quite a few restaurants and we had a great experience in almost all of them. But there are 3 in particular that I would like to mention, because they were just amazing!
Starting off with Quintal: this pizzeria was out of this world! Mouthwatering… This was my favourite place to eat in Gostoso. Tuk Tuk and Palmira restaurant were very good also. The first is a seafood restaurant, everything was absolutely delicious and fresh! And Palmira is a very good and cozy Italian cuisine restaurant, amazing food and lovely atmosphere.

The best way to get to know Gostoso is to take a ride on a buggy with a local guide! You will see in the tour the main spots of the city, such as the Catholic Church and Praça dos Anjos. Also, the guide will bring you to see the beaches of Maceió, Xepa, Cardeiro e Ponta do Santo Cristo. The whole tour took us about 8 hours, it is a bit tiring but so worthy it! Highly recommend guys…

We had such an amazing time there! Definitely coming back again!
Thanks São Miguel do Gostoso for having us!
