The first post of the wedding was so big that we had to split in two! There is still so much more to come where I will be talking in details about different parts of the wedding from the beginning until the end. If you missed the part 1 (see it here). Now let’s get to the photos:
We had a few attractions during the wedding. Anthony and I were welcomed in the dinner with a lot of dancing with our Carnival dancers and capoeira guys… It was such a special moment, the Brazilians loved it but the gringos went crazy! From the very first moment we walked in the party was already buzzing and it was such a great idea! Then we had a 10 piece band from the UK called ART Collective who performed during dinner, we selected them once we saw them perform in a bar in London… I instantly connected with Angela, so beautiful and classy she looks like a glamorous singer from a movie in the 1920’s and her voice is just out of this world! As another surprise to our guests we had an Opera Singer that got us all in tears with his unbelievable voice and soul – he sung Con Te Partiro, E lucern Le Stelle and Nessun Dorma at different moments during dinner and after cutting the cake.
As Cliché as it sounds, it was the BEST day of our lives. There is nothing I would change of this day. It was like a fairy tale and so perfect. There was so much love in the air we couldn’t hold it, everyone was touched by it… isn’t this the beauty of weddings? The best part was to stand back and see our guests having the best time! Anthony and I enjoyed every second of it and couldn’t stop dancing, the wedding finished at 4:30am and carried on at our hotel until 6:30am! We never wanted it to end….
I hope I have managed to put into words and to have shared a little bit of this amazing day! I am going to be writing about every little thing into more detail so keep an eye out on my Bride’s Diary here on the blog. Hope I have been of help to you fellow brides :)
Lots of love,
Your bride, Camila x
